The proposed Bank site includes existing and restorable hardpan terrace vernal pools within a designated critical habitat unit and core recovery area. Special-status species include California tiger salamander, western spadefoot toad, vernal pool fairy shrimp, vernal pool tadpole shrimp, midvalley fairy shrimp and succulent owl’s clover. The site also includes intact annual grasslands with mima mound topography providing known habitat for San Joaquin kit fox and adult California tiger salamander.

Status
